2 + Abortions Worldwide

"I couldn't stand the thought of having another child with another loser."

This story is published at Reddit.

I’ve had multiple abortions.

One of them I was 14 weeks, I was extremely upset about it but I knew it wasn’t the right choice to keep it.

I hated the man I was with so much and couldn’t stand the thought of having another child with another loser.

I have a 4 year old with someone who abused me and isn’t active in my child’s life and had a miscarriage after having my first baby with the same guy.

Now I’m with someone whom I love very much and we just had an abortion 4 weeks ago. I just got my period.

I just felt like I needed to get this off my chest, I’ve had about 5 abortions, I can’t even remember. I only felt sad about it the last two times. Has anyone else here had multiple abortions like me??

Responses:

There’s plenty of women who had multiple abortions. Do not feel guilty about this situation. I think I have had 5, or 6. I cannot remember now. Personally I know a friends girlfriend who has had 3 in the last year. You are not alone. ❤️

I’ve had 2, and it makes me feel better to see others having more than 1. I usually only see the 1. I also haven’t felt anything but maybe relief afterwards, which also makes me feel like the odd one out. Thank you for sharing your experience 💕

Yes, I've had 3 abortions. It's common to have more than 1 . I mean think about it. Women can get pregnant til they're like 50. It can happen🤷‍♀️.

Plenty of people have had multiple abortions. I've told people, "there's nothing about having an abortion that magically means you'll never need another abortion." It sounds like the abortions you've had have each helped you get to a better place in your life. You needing more abortions along your way is a matter of circumstance and luck. Don't beat yourself up about it. Be kind to yourself, build a life that can be kind to you too.

You are normal. Accidental pregnancies are normal. Abortions are normal. Ending untimely, problematic pregnancies is always an act of wisdom, love and responsibility, despite what the cruel stigma in our man-dominated world says.
