I've had three abortions.
The first because I simply wasn't ready; the second time because the guy took off the condom without telling me; and the last was because a man I was getting to know raped me and unfortunately my IUD failed.
All three times were for different reasons, and each reason was valid.
Sometimes the feelings of sadness creep in but more than anything I'm relieved and grateful I wasn't forced to continue a pregnancy I didn’t want.
