Struggling some years in an abusive relationship till I got pregnant, four times! I decided to have abortions.
Why? Because I don’t want to continue the pregnancy. Because I was not ready. Because I don’t want to give birth to children I was not ready to have. Because I want to plan my pregnancy. Because my children in the future deserve to be born wanted and loved unconditionally.
I don’t want to give birth to children who will remind me of a misogynist abusive guy. Lucky me, I could access the safe abortions. Lucky me, I have a few people got my back sincerely so I could break the chain and got out from that relationship.
Now, I have a family. A supportive partner and a pair of twin daughters. They are planned. They are loved. Unconditionally.
Abortion was the best thing I have ever decided in my life. It saved my life.
